10 Reasons To Take Your Home Based Business Online

Published by wyteriajacobo at 8:42 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Picture this scene: You awaken from a restful night’s sleep at 6:30 a.m. Normally, you would sleep in but that’s all changed since the baby came. Her cries seem to sound a silent alarm that only you can hear. You stride to her room eager to soothe her. Fortunately, you get to spend the whole day with her even though it’s the middle of the week.

One year ago, a day like this would have seemed impossible. Your hectic corporate schedule barely left time for a social life let alone family planning sessions. However, you were determined to find a way to replace your current salary while balancing family life. Looking back, you are so glad you found a business that you love.

Does this sound like a pipe dream? You may be surprised to learn that starting a home based business online on a shoestring budget is completely doable. With the proper tools and motivation, you can receive income of one hundred dollars to thousands per day. I will share 10 compelling reasons for starting an online business.

 1. Escape the daily commute. Instead of spending a few hours driving to a job you hate, you get to spend more time with your loved ones. Since you no longer commute, you are also contributing to a “greener” environment.

2. Go at your own pace. By working your new online business on a part-time basis initially, you are under less stress to produce the desired results. Of course, the goal is to replace your current income with earnings from your part-time business. However, you understand that those earnings will come over time.

 3. You can start with little cash out-of-pocket. Many successful businesses have been started with free blogs. Besides blogs, there are many software and business tools that offer trial or free versions that help you bring your online business up-to-speed quickly. Also, social media like Facebook and MySpace provide a savvy entrepreneur with a web presence without the need for a website.

 4.  You can choose your own hours. If baby has a doctor’s appointment, you no longer have to ask for time off or look for someone to trade schedules. Now that you are in the driver’s seat, you won’t have to worry about losing your desired vacation time to a coworker with more seniority than you.

 5. You are finally paid what you are worth. Forget those quarter raises or measly merit increases that never seemed to keep up with the cost of living. If you want a bigger paycheck, all you have to do is drive more traffic to your website. More traffic means more clicks which lead to more sales.

 6. Automation, automation, automation. In real estate, location is gold but online, automation is golden. Tasks that once took hours to complete can now be done in a matter of seconds thanks to tools like autoresponders.

 7. Make money in your sleep. Try doing that at your J-O-B. Once your site is turning a profit, you can put other systems in place to further outsource your work and provide more time freedom. After all, if you cannot go on vacation without shutting down your business, can you really call yourself a business owner?

 8. Portability. If you decide to move to an island in the Caribbean, your business will travel with you. All you need is a computer and an internet connection.

9. Attract new clients daily. When you consider that more people get online every day, the opportunities to grow your business are unlimited. You just have to keep abreast of current trends and take action.

10. Every day is casual Friday. I used to look forward to Fridays at my old job because we got to wear jeans to work. Now that I work from home I can dress like that every day if I wanted to. This same option is available to you when you decide to take your home based business to the internet.
